Jenifer K. Bossert, O.D.

Jenifer K. Bossert, O.D. received her Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, after completing her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University. Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved to Hawaii in 1993 and worked at the Hawaiian Eye Center for twelve years as the Director of Contact Lens Services. In 2005, she joined Dr. Edwards at Honolulu Eye Clinic as our staff optometrist and Contact Lens Specialist.

Dr. Bossert is knowledgeable and adept at fitting all types of contact lenses – soft and hard contacts, toric lenses for astigmatism, lenses for keratoconus, bifocals, and even toric bifocals.

She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Hawaii Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Contact Lens Society. She is also a Penn state Alumni Admission Volunteer and a member of Outrigger Canoe Club. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking, outrigger canoe paddling, sailing, skiing, and just being outdoors.
