Gary Edwards, M.D. began his practice of comprehensive ophthalmology in Hawaii in 1977, and is the original founder of Honolulu Eye Clinic.

Although he retired in late 2008, he left a legacy of over 30 years of exceptional patient care that continues on at the Honolulu Eye Clinic. Dr. Edwards hand picked Drs. Jeff and Rupa Wong to perpetuate his vision at the Honolulu Eye Clinic - to provide total eye care, from glasses and contact lenses to medical and surgical services. Dr. Edwards continues to provide mentorship to the doctors at Honolulu Eye Clinic.
