Jeff Wong, M.D. is a fellowship trained cornea specialist and experienced ocular surgeon. He was born and raised in Honolulu, where his family has lived for four generations. Dr. Wong’s family has a long history of caring for patients in Hawaii and at Queen’s Medical Center. His father, the late Dr. Terry Wong, started his endocrinology practice at Queen’s in 1974. His sister, Dr. Lisa Wong, also an endocrinologist, continues the practice.
Rupa Krishnamurthy Wong, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist, with a specialty in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. She is originally from North Carolina, but was easily drawn to the beautiful island of Oahu. She attended Duke University on the prestigious Benjamin N. Duke academic leadership and National Merit scholarships. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Biology and a minor in Religion. She earned her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, winning numerous fellowships and awards.
Jenifer K. Bossert, O.D. received her Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, after completing her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University. Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved to Hawaii in 1993 and worked at the Hawaiian Eye Center for twelve years as the Director of Contact Lens Services. In 2005, she joined Dr. Edwards at Honolulu Eye Clinic as our staff optometrist and Contact Lens Specialist.
